Casey who will share stories from his memoir, "To Fight for My Country, Sir!" Casey was navigating bombers out of England in 1944 when his plane was shot down over Nazi Germany. He spent 11 months in the "Great Escape" prison camp before liberation. This special event is free and open to the public. Casey, who grew up in River Forest, hopes families will bring older children and teens to hear his story of war and survival.
