 Join us for this special event with attorney/author Cynthia Gillard, granddaughter of Clifford Augustus Hastings and Adele Lawton. When he died, Cynthia's Grandfather Hastings left behind a scrapbook of his vaudeville days, now 100 years old. She has written an historical novel based on her grandparents' experiences in vaudeville, before they moved to Oak Park in 1920 for her grandfather to manage the Warrington Theater. The Historical Society is collaborating with the Oak Park Public Library and will bring photographs and other items from the Warrington Theater.
