Description:
 Meet Oak Park photographer Nancy Rose Ortenberg and enjoy her photographic exhibit titled "The Blues Highway: From Mississippi to Chicago."

Ortenberg traveled to the Mississippi Delta during the 1980s where she started photographing blues musicians and their environments. Then a student at Columbia College Chicago, Ortenberg collaborated with Blues poet Sterling Plump. This exhibit is part of the America's Music series of documentary and Hollywood films, lectures and concerts hosted by the Oak Park Public Library throughout February and March, 2013.
