Wright Reels: The Taliesin Fellowship and Film

 A selection of feature-length films and shorts will reveal the unique cinematic taste of Frank Lloyd Wright and his appreciation of film as an art form. Rise Sanders-Weir, professor of Film History at Triton College, will talk about the new book, "Taliesin Diary: A Year with Frank Lloyd Wright" which describes life in the architectural colony in south central Wisconsin from the 1930s through the 1950s.

Join us to see the films that Wright screened for his apprentices.

Nov. 3 - "Palm Beach Story" (88 minutes) and "Grasshopper and the Ants" (8 minutes).

Nov. 10 - "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (83 minutes) and "Pencil Mania" (7 minutes)

Nov. 17 - "Alexander Nevsky" (112 minutes) and "Tulips Shall Grow' (7 minutes) with discussion led by special guest Mariamne Whatley, daughter of the author of "Taliesin Diaries."
