 President Franklin D. Roosevelt promoted film as a key war industry which showcased heroism, selflessness and the need to co-operation. Watch Humphrey Bogart and his tank crew, a microcosm of the Allied troops, encounter Nazis in the Libyan Desert in the 1943 film. Oak Park film historian Doug Deuchler leads discussion.
