 Join Samina Hadi-Tabassum, Associate Professor, Dominican University, for a discussion of "Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation" by Eboo Patel, an American Muslim from India.

Patel is the former Lund-Gill Chair at Dominican University and the founder of the Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago-based international nonprofit building the interfaith youth movement. A regular contributor to the Washington Post, National Public Radio, and CNN, Patel was appointed by President Obama to the Advisory Council of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

This discussion is part of the community-wide series Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys', designed to provide area residents with a comprehensive introduction to Islamic art, culture and history.
