Writer Michael Czarnecki: Palm-of-Hand Workshop

Event Type: Adult Program
Date: 9/18/2014
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 9:00 PM
Description:
Everyone has stories to share and many people have a desire to write about their life. Wanting to write and doing so are two different things. The immensity of such a project can overwhelm us. Michael Czarnecki, a poet and publisher from New York, will offer his “Palm of the Hand” Memoir Writing Workshop to help make that desire a reality.

These workshops have been very successful in helping people to write extensively about their life experiences - whether for family members or to someday be published in a book, according to Czarnecki.

Michael Czarnecki has been making a living as a poet, publisher and oral memoirist for nearly two decades. He has given hundreds of readings and workshops throughout the country.
In 1986, he founded FootHills Publishing, a small press that has released over 400 chapbooks and books of poetry. More information about Michael can be found at: www.foothillspublishing.com/poetguy
