 Celebrate the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Former U.S. Army Signal Corpsman Robert Mueller, author of "Fields of War: Battle of Normandy," shares stories and photos of that historic day, June 6, 1944. American soldiers stormed Omaha Beach and overcame German defenses. The Allied assault to liberate France from German occupation started with the invasion of the Normandy coast.

Mueller's previous book, "Fields of War: Fifty Key Batlefields in France and Belgioum" has received four national book awards including a Bronze Medal from the Military Writers Society of America.
