T.O.: Flora and Ulysses Book Discussion & Journal-Making Craft

Event Type: Children's Program
Date: 6/25/2014
Start Time: 4:00 PM
End Time: 5:15 PM
Description:
Comic book-obsessed, self-defined cynic Flora Belle Buckman's life is forever changed after rescuing a squirrel from a vacuum cleaner. However, this rodent turns out to be far from typical--he begins to exhibit astonishing feats of flying and strength, and has a gift for writing poetry as well! Join us for a discussion of this 2014 Newbery Medal winner, with a journal-making craft to follow. For kids going into 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.
