 Members of OPWG will read selections of their original works including poetry, short stories, and essays. The group includes novice writers as well as published authors. This year Chicago poet Al DeGenova, author of "A Good Hammer" as well as publisher and editor of the literary/arts journal, "After Hours," will appear as a guest reader.

"Keystrokes V," the fifth anthology published by OPWG, will be showcased at the event. Featuring original prose and poetry written by members of the group, it includes three national contest-winning pieces by authors Diane Maciejewski, Myron Stokes and Kathy Woods. Copies will be available for sale at the event.
Live music will be provided by Oak Park vocalist/guitarist/pianist Roger Kotecki. Light refreshments will be served.
